  • Planting onions

I have onions from seed and onion sets to be planted, could they be planted directly into aged manure, or would it be to rich for them?
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Sets can, that's how I plant mine.
I won't go into the reasoning, but it works.
I haven't sowed onion seeds for years but no reason I can think of that it wouldn't work.
Feed the soil, not the plants.

If the dung heap has some warmth to it, should work, they say seed doesn't need food to germinate, it is after that the grub is required.
