Carrots

I've taken on advice from here to grow them in containers. As I was behind in schedule, I bought some carrot seedlings from homebase. Now there's multiple seedlings clustered together in groups and there's 4 groups. Do I thin these out now? Do I transplant them first and wait?

When do I thin them out?
