Red Veined Sorrel

I have growing some red veined sorrel, loads of it in fact.
I just don't know what to do with it, i picked a leaf and ate it, flavour unappealing

Does anyone grow this and how are you eating/cooking it?

I have that in my back garden and I've tried to get rid of it for 13 years now. The little B***ds keep coming back, in pots, in the borders, everywhere. I think they're horrible to eat too - why anyone would sow them to eat, I do not know!
