...does everybody take off the king head to give the smaller heads a boost, or just leave them to their own devices? I took the first one off and fried it up with lemon and olive oil - the single mouthful was excellent. The other plants are starting to produce now - to chop or not to chop, what do you do?

I just leave them to do their own thing, none for me this year, I lost them when I moved plots boohoo!
Have 4 babies raised from seed, but doubt they'll flower 'til next year. -
I'll do that then. I'll use the one I deheaded as a control plant to compare..
