Hi all,
I'm wondering if it's ok to use the water from our cold-water steriliser (used for baby items) to water our veg seedlings, flower beds, fruit bushes/trees, etc. The guidelines recommend changing out the water every 24 hours – that's 5 liters of water. As I understand it, the sterilising fluid (Milton and similar) is actually very dilute bleach. I assume that the reason that it needs to be changed after 24 hours is that the chlorine evaporates off. In that case, I would think the water is safe to use. Does anyone know for sure or have experience of reusing this kind of water?
Thanks!
