"Hardening off" - what's that?
No mollycoddling here - if they're big enough to go out, that's what they do.

I have 5 watering cans and a 10 gallon drum in the greenhouse to take the chill off the water for using inside but do you use the water from the greenhouse to water plants you are hardening off outside

By time they big enough to be out hardening off, they get the hose pipe ( with spray gun ) at what ever temp it comes at . Definitely no pampering at that stage.
