I've just sown some Lupini beans (because I had them - because they were reduced) and wondered if anyone cooks with them. I'm specifically looking at those with an Italian bent as it seems that this is were they are most popular,
What's the best way to prepare them so that they don't send me off to the hospital after eating them?
Can they be prepared in a way that takes less than a week?
Are they just useable as a snack or are there any decent recipes using them?
Why bother with toxic beans that take a long time to prepare when there are other, easier and less toxic beans out there - is their flavour that good.
