How many Courgettes, squashes and cucumbers have you picked in 2019

7 courgettes - 4 yellow and 3 green, one of which was Hooooooooooooooooooooge

Totals -
Beth Alpha Cucumbers - 11 + 2 = 13

Green Courgettes - 40 + 3 = 43
Yellow Courgettes - 7+ 4= 11

Cucs up to 12 + 8 on Monday and another 7 today = 27. which means I have about 14 to turn into sweet pickle/ gherkin spears or slices. The cucumber soup was not a hit either hot or cold, will try again without the lettuce (got to use them up too you know) And then call it some thing else

Squash 2 + 1 pumpkin, had to rescue it early don't know if it will ripen cos the plant died back

Courgettes 10.- had x more fail. But the bees and others are now out in force ( I recommend marjoram to bring them them in, the whole garden was humming yesterday )

Message to self " just because all the seeds germinated you don't have to then put all the resulting plants in the garden"

Explanation to you all, planned 1 plant each of 4 types of cuc. so 3 seeds each duly sown with 100% success. 2 plants given away so I ended up with 10! That is a lot of cucs for 2 people.

03 = 1 little trombo + 2 (one of which was the largest one yet at around 14"-15")

1. Cukes 27 + 12 = 39 (and I picked 12 yesterday... I thought I would have at least a couple of days before this lot needed picking.)

3. Squash 3 + 1 onion squash and 3 trombocino = 6 I am happily watching the Autumn crown as I have 1 (admittedly oddly shaped) growing and hopefully another if it takes.

I harvested a couple unpollinated fruits before but today harvested 1 soleil and 2 green bush. I'm excited!
