Hi,
This is the second year I've grown sweetcorn, last year they were palestcream/white, hard and needed to be thrown out, so I thought.
This year I've just picked the first, the biggest with the brown shrivelled tassle, it's the same colour but the corns are juicy when popped with a finger, i's definitely not of the stature or colour of a commercial one but are they dyed??? I buy organic when I can but they are still a lot more yellow and plump, as my 8 y o is a sweetcorn fiend, I don't want her getting tummyache - is it OK to eat???
Thank you!!!!
Beth
