This is from my first early Swift plants planted on the 29th March and is far, far larger than the others. WHY??? It is massive. But I must say I would recommend Swift as a fast growing first early that tastes great.

Definitely a vast difference in size.
Did you grow them in the ground or in containers ?
If in containers, how large , what compost and Fertiliser, water etc ?
Was the seed tuber growing many chits or just one main shoot.?

Did any leaves get damaged in the wind leaving that one tuber & it’s leaves to grow on with all the room for itself?

It was just planted outside in my clay soil, with some well rotted manure. There was 10 ordinary size potatoes on the plant plus the big one. No idea how many sprouts there were. The original potato wasn't big.

Looks like two potatoes fused together...is that possible?
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.
