    wow, cant believe it..looking today i can see my asparagus showing through.

    this is my 3rd year so hopefully looking forward to a nice crop. mmmm yummy

    just thought i would share that with all you good folk out there .

    Yeah so are mine - but they're still in the seed tray!!! Just started sprouting after a bit more than two weeks.......way to go yet then.
    To see a world in a grain of sand
    And a heaven in a wild flower

      mine have been in the ground 3 weeks, nothing showing as yet tho...

        i planted a row of 10 1 yr old crowns 2 weeks ago too - nothing showing yet. but i don't expect to crop them for 2 years anyway so i guess i'll just try to forget about them for a while...

            We put 25 crowns in about 3 weeks ago so whilst no crop to pick this year I am looking forward to the spears coming up and turning into ferns.

                  im so pleased you guys want my crop, i had nothing ! but share everything so feel free to pop over and help yourself.
                  just a word of warning though.. my wife is a rotveiller and bites..lol.

                    my asparagus are through now, didnt go down the kitchen garden at all yesterday, and there was nothign the day before - but a couple of the spears are already about 4" high!!! I think 7 out of the 10 are either up or showing. will have to resist the urge to pick this year...
