And now, the Ant is near
and you must face the final curtain.............
    For you're not wanted here
Your end is near, of that I'm certain.

For there were chives, I'm sure you knew,
Where you bit off, more than you could chew
You chewed them up and spat them out
And the alliums lives, they were in doubt.

    The Grapevine shows,
I took the blows and stopped you My Way.

Unwelly the iller-ant packed his trunk
And said goodbye to the chive plant
Off he went with a gruntedy grunt, grunt, grunt, grunt .....

Greenfly on roses and Aphids on Alliums
Cabbage white catties and snails on delphiniums
Tiny black wireworms and fat slimy slugs
These are a few of my least favourite bugs.

When the gnats bite and the bee stings
        When I'm feeling mad
I simply remember the warm sunny days
and then I don't feel so bad.

              Garlic chives, Garlic chives
              Every morning you greet me
              Tall and white
              Green and bright
You look happy to meet me
              Now there’s no ants
              May you bloom and grow
              Bloom and grow forever
              Garlic chives, Garlic chives
              Bless my garden forever

How do you solve a problem like an aphid?
How do you make an aphid go away?
How do you find a cure for pesky aphids?
A squish with the fingers? A blast from the hose?
                A spray?
