  • Mini Munch surprise

Thought I would try a couple of Mini Munch cucumbers this year.
I eventually got 2 to germinate and put them in a growbag in the greenhouse.
Was a bit worried because at times the overnight temperature dropped to 7 deg C.
They seemed OK and were climbing my mesh, although they looked a little weak to me.
Went to tie them in and there hiding under the leaves were 5 perfectly formed cucmbers ready to munch.
Currently in the fridge ready for my salad.
    Chuffed, Jimmy

I grow Mini Munch and Cucino - very similar varieties with slightly different flavours. They produce huge numbers of small cucumbers and are quite good at hiding them under the leaves. Keep removing them when big enough to eat as they will stop fruiting if you miss any.
