  • Cherry peppers

I have never seen these for sale - we have been buying them stuffed with ricotta cheese and they are delicious - is there anyone in here that has grown them - I have some pepper plants growing in the tunnel - I am sure somebody is going to tell me to just pick them before they reach maturity?..

I’m growing mini red from wilko this year. Seem to indicate they will be about that sort of size I’ll let you know when I harvest some.

Jack Army has grown a few varieties to find peppers that are the right suze and taste for stuffing.

Cherry bomb is advertised as ideal for stuffing with cheese - but I found it a bit too small

Satan's Kiss maybe...but we also found that one small.

        Just found jacks post :

Thanks - waiting for the seeds to arrive - I know it’s late but can hopefully get them going - says have to be grown in a really warm place so going to try the propagator - they are delicious when stuffed - been buying them in Aldi but they are always quite soft so wondering if they are cooked before stuffing??

I think maybe it's a bit late to start now? Chilliest and peppers need a long growing season. Have you got a green house? That may help but even so there's not much time for them to get going. Though you could try overwintering your plants to get ahead next year.
I would also save half your seed so you have some to start early next year.

Thanks Scarlet - yes I know you are right - my peppers are flowering in the tunnel and they have been in there for quite some time - I may just try a few of these seeds but as you say it’s late in the year - I will save the rest for next season.
