Nasturtium amidst climbing beans

I have the usual triangle bean frames, and thus a lot of dead space in the middle - is there any reason why I couldn't put nasturtiums in the middle (no particular reason other than I have some growing and I like them)

I have nasturniums growing through bean structures and elsewhere. They do like to self sow, so be ready to move a few self sown plants early next summer too.

I've got nasturtiums growing through my pea row, up bean tripods and amongst my sweet peas, like Kevin says they do pop up everywhere I think the GH is the only place I don't have any.
Hopefully I'll have plenty of seed pods to pickle.

You could let them trail along the ground area,they get covered in aphids it doesn’t look nice but alright at ground level,let ants go all around the nasturtiums avoiding the runner bean teepee,I’ve never risked them climbing the same teepee doesn’t it make the beans get covered in aphids,they’d be able to take over the whole teepee?

Nasturtiums I find are a bit bullish and tend to swamp everything. Calendula is much nicer. I have these and cornflowers growing amonst my beans and peas and have had no blackfly or any other pest this year.
