Can I sow garden peas now?

If you sow an early variety (which are faster maturing) then there is plenty of time to get a crop (I just sowed some mangetout about 5 days ago).
It is a bit of a gamble, though, because late peas are very prone to powdery mildew. To reduce the chances of them succumbing, try to plant them in an open area so that they get plenty of air flow, and keep them well-watered but be sure to direct the water only at the roots, and try not to get the foliage wet.

Yep, they should have time to crop but mildew can be an issue as stated so go for it.
I am going to sow some tomorrow but do expect the aforementioned mildew to be a potential issue..I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly
