Well as my garden is organic, I use seaweed spray every few weeks and always discard infected leaves I am just overwhelmed by so many issues with my plants.
Pear tree (newly plated in last 4 years fruiting for first time) Rust starting on leaves
Clematis - powdery mildew every year despite watering.
Hollyhock - orange spots on leaves. Cut off infected leaves and still come back
Leaf miner - Borage, various flowers, peas, chard, beetroot,
Thrips - Tiny lime green springing insects everywhere
Ornamental Cherry tree - Disease leaf fall with some leaf miner evidence despite always looking fresh and healthy every Spring/early summer
Plum tree (newly planted 4 years) first fruiting, a lot have dropped off.
Mysterious parasite making leaves of sage, basil, thyme, lemon balm and mints look mottles and paper thin
So I do wonder why I bother. I will say for the folk who thik I never report good results that I have had the best Autumn sown broad bean harvest ever. Like triffids. Great wild rocket, strawberries and gooseberries.
I am also trying to make more space between plants by cutting out dead or infected stems.
