Can anyone help with a diagnosis for my leaves going yellow on my Sungold tomato plants?

It could be potassium deficiency, have you fed them with tomato feed?

They are fed at least once a week but the food is around a year or two old. Would that make any difference?

A year or two isn’t very long the fertiliser should be alright still? Is the yellowing happening only on the lower leaves, what does the whole plant look like because lower leaves go off colour like that, they’re helping provide nutrients to the newer growth.

Sorry, I should have said, this is a leaf at the top end of the plant, Overall the plant seems in fine colour, producing fruit and ripening, its just this sudden change in leaf colour which implies an issue.

Are they growing in the ground or in pots? And are you adding more fertiliser because of its age or the recommended amount?

They are in large pots, I don’t measure out exact quantities of feed to water, just pop a couple of capfuls in a 4.5l watering can. Could it be that they are in fact being overfed? Am I literally drowning it in liquid love?

It probably is too much feed because it doesn’t sound like deficiency & they both look the same on the leaf. Both my seaweed & tomato feed are one capful in 4.5 litres but have a look on the label,it’s good you noticed early using plain water for a week or two will help wash it out the compost.

Sounds a bit high to me. I use one capful in about 7 litres.
