They're usually sold as bulbs and have found two suppliers, one of which I'm a bit doubtful of the quality they'll send you. This is the other one:-

If I remember from previous years, garlic stock tend to not start to be advertised/sold until September October time, when people will want to start planting them for over-wintering.
And I really must remember to do that this year

The garlic farm is where I would get my bulbs from. You can order online but they are also at shows across the uk.
Iberian Wight is a close relative so that may be worth a try if you can't find anything else.
It's also a soft neck ( no flower spike) and stores really well.
You can pre order now and they will deliver just prior to planting time.

Blimey, I've just had a look at that site Scarlet, and I nearly spat out my coffee! Wow, they don't come cheap do they? Admittedly it's been a few years since I last grew garlic, and it's worth investing in good stock that you can then save seed from, but... at £2.50 per bulb, I can see now why people sometimes plant supermarket garlic.
Other than Wilko, are there any cheaper ones that are still recommended for garlic? I'm very out of touch, clearly!

I wouldn't do Wilco....I got white onion rot from cheap bulbs.
£2.50 per bulbs? It cost £2 for a pack of seeds - their bulbs are huge. Lots of big fat cloves per bulb. You pay for what you get in my opinion. The spindly eating garlic from supermarket is not comparable. Going to your local veg market is an option though?
I've always managed to buy from them at shows or fairs so avoided postage But £2.50 for quality isn't a big deal I don't think.

Ahh, so the two bulbs for £5.95 means two full heads of garlic, not just cloves? No wonder I nearly choked if I misunderstood that basic difference haha Then yes, they're much better value than I first thought
I wouldn't go for Wilkos garlic either - they've always looked very dried up even when they first come out in the shops.
