Help! My pumpkin is cracking

I am growing pumpkins for the first time and wanted to try the Atlantic Giants. I have one that is growing well and has put on nearly over 10% since this time yesterday and it is starting to have fissures near the stem end and is oozing clear sticky liquid.

I think it is growing too quickly. Is there anything I can do to save the pumpkin?

I can't view the images on my device, so I'll have a proper look when I'm on my computer later.
However, if the cracks are relatively small (less than 2-3mm wide and deep) then this is nothing to worry about.
It happens to cucurbits quite often. The sticky sap it is oozing is a glue, and it will dry to a biege corky substance which will seal up the cracks.
It's how melons with "netted" skin grow. They start off smooth and green, then when they are nearly ripe the skin cracks all over and oozes that sap, and it dries to create the corky netting pattern you see on mature melons in the shop.
Just keep and eye on it to make sure insects don't get into the cracks while they are sealing themselves.

Just looked at the pictures (a bit late, I know).
Honestly, that's nothing. The way you described it, I thought would it was worse than that. I don't think those are even cracks. They look too small and shallow, not to mention cracks tend to radiate from the stalk or blossom end, whereas those are going in circles around the top. I think those are just scratches.
Either way, those are absolutely nothing to worry about. In fact, they've probably already healed up by now.

I have discovered that these were merely growth Mark's, kind of like stretch Mark's! Now the pumpkin has been harvested these marks show as cool scars. I'll add a pic in a bit
