My garage is quite hot in summer, possibly because it has a corrugated metal roof. Its cold in winter though!!

Metal tin in the fridge.
Fine until “someone” pulled them out and put them in a cupboard. I reckon the metal box then developed a lot of condensation that ruined most of the seeds. Until this year it has worked really well.

Deffo A waterproof container is essential ...don’t ask me how I know
I’m going for those clip top plastic boxes and the silica sachets in future for anything that I couldn’t easily replace and will find somewhere cool in the house as temperatures in the shed or greenhouse are too variable.
I’m curious about freezing seeds to keep them viable for longer. Has anyone tried it?All at once I hear your voice
