i plant mine in 30 litre buckets and attach a label to the handle using a cable tie. It works great except that the "permanent" marker pens tend to be anything but permanent and the ink washes off in the rain. I therefore also make a note of what I put in which bucket, and the buckets have numbers painted on them.

Name that spud...
As previously noted, my notes are lost.
I planted pink fir, charlotte (already lifted), sharpe express, desiree. Each in seperate beds (probably)
The charlottes were the first to die back, the ones picked today were the second. But they don't look like sharpes to me.
Also, they may be a mix, some behaved differently as they cooked.
What do the panel think?

Anyway, they aren't charlottes.. I'm sure they aren't pink fir (mentioned only for completeness).
I'll look at the site, but that sort of site tends to perfection, not the dubious things we actually get...
