This is my first try, I grew the self blanching stuff years ago and the kids Rabbits and Guinea pigs ate that, it was tasteless. It might be beginners luck, but I put a fair bit of prep work in to help moisture retention prior to planting and then watered daily, the seed I used is from Robinsons.

Did you blanch with soil AP? just gathering information for future efforts, my experiment with the membrane seems to be working, not finding many slugs either.
