Garlic newbie

Split into cloves and replant. Disease is only likely if you grow in the same bed repeatedly year after year after year.

I grow outside. 1st year in containers that did well, 2nd year in raised beds (mix of different MPC over clay) which didn't do so well so back to containers again this year which did better. All are under nets at least until late spring to keep out the wildlife and next doors cats!

Thinking that they were drier in the containers over the winter which was good but need a bit more pampering in the bags come the turn in the warmer weather. (Forgot to add some more fertiliser this spring)
