I grow leaf celery. It still has the same hollows and ridges on the stalk as normal celery, so that's an easy way to distinguish.
It looks like Kintsai which has a strong celery taste and smell. If you use it in soup/broth you only need a very small amount, maybe a couple of leaves.

It looks to me rather like lovage which smells like celery and a quick search found several soup recipes for it. Lovage has a hollow stem and mine is still growing well currently
Well, I still don't know what it was, but it was blooming lovely in a beam stew.
Homegrown beans, rosemary and garlic, carrots and herb a gift from next door, onions 50/50, tomato was shop bought - annoyingly there is home-grown pomadoro in the freezer - should have used that.
