    Hi
Super excited as I have just received my little greenhouse, it's just a six shelf unit with plastic cover. What is the best veg that I can plant this time of year??

Hello Mr Rose and welcome to the Vine.
This is not the best time to start sowing winter vegetables as the seedlings require warmth and light to thrive, both of which are in short supply in November.
You could try some winter salad leaves, perhaps starting them indoors on a windowsill. If you have some outside space too you could start some broad beans and peas, garlic and onions in pots to plant outside later on - or overwinter some herbs.

      Hi, and welcome
I like to sow salad leaves at this time of year, harvested as baby leaves they’re great for salads etc. over the winter months.
Might also save a bit of space for early spring sowings - a few of the seed company websites have a month by month section which will give you plenty of ideas , but I don’t think we’re supposed to mention specific company names on the forum ;-)

          Hello!

If you are going to sow at this time of year, make sure you get it well tied down or put in a sheltered place. Small greenhouses with a clear plastic sheet cover tend to be known as "blowaways" on here...

Welcome Mr Rose, you could always pot a few flower bulbs, as veg growing is limited to salad leaves and hardy herbs, onion seeds or sets for planting out. You could also try some January king cabbage seeds for planting out in January

Welcome to the Vine Mr. Rose, if your answer to Mr. Bones`s question is Britain or similar I would suggest all year round lettuce in trays, radish (moolie or similar) in deep pots and pea shoots also in pots but they don't need to be as deep, whatever you do I wish you success
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                    Hello and welcome.

@rary has just mentioned the pea shoot idea. Indeed any 'microgreens' you might just get away with. Try to place the greenhouse in the sunniest spot but sheltered from the worst excesses of wind.
One idea is to place large sealed and dark water containers in the bottom. The two benefits are that it prevents it blowing away and the sun slowly heats the water and the water slowly releases the heat during the night.
