What do you all do with surplus produce?

As others have said, jams jellies, soups, sauces, and freezing.
Share with my family as well.
I get great satisfaction at the end of each season when I look in the freezer and store cupboard and know, through my own effort and my small garden I have managed to provide something for my family.

I've not managed to develop any surplus yet, but our plot had a food bank collection this year, so if I generate any surplus, and if it's still going next year, I'll use that.

Thats a good idea, there are increasing numbers of food banks around here, the ones I know of prefer tinned and packed items as its easier to hold, and bag up etc.
I wonder if any soup kitchens are allowed to take surplus allotment veg

Talking of excess apples, I make juice and freeze it or give the apples away, but this year I left the apples on the grass. I don't think these would be suitable for food banks etc as mine are always riddled with creepy crawlies

Like Bramble, its nice to grow veg and I am trying to be self sufficient. I only ever have a surplus of courgettes!

After we've eaten and preserved what we can, friends and family benefit. I do like the food bank idea and will mention that to our allotment association.
We have got better at managing growth levels to our expected use, but nature continues to have a laugh at our expense (sometimes more and sometimes less/nothing).

Our local foodbanks wont take fresh produce, all to do with shelf life. I am not a church goer but find them a good outlet

My family get quite a bit of the surplus after I have eaten or frozen what I want and there is a house near me with a charity table outside where they put their own surplus and have said I can add mine. They sell them in aid of the local youth club.

In my old house (over 20 years ago) we had an orchard with loads of apple trees. We bought a fruit press and made apple juice out of some of the surplus apples, which was great. The pulp went on the compost heap so nothing was wasted.
