Selecting Elephant Garlic Cloves

Last year I planted 8 Elephang Garlic cloves, from which I got quite a good harvest this year.

I would like to set out 8 cloves from the harvest for planting for next year's harvest. I was wondering if anyone had tips for selecting the best cloves.

Anything that is healthy really although if you are trying for a larger strain then use the larger cloves.
