Picked some Bijou giant mangetout for dinner.
They were indeed giant, but the flavour was very disappointing. They were starchy and kind of bland. A world away from the Delikett which I am also growing, which are sweet and flavoursome.

One gherkin and three kolhrabi.
Four small marrows and one slightly bigger than supermarket size from the allotment.
Blueberries and raspberries from the back garden.
I have had one or two nice strawberries from a couple of plants left by the previous plot holder. I am growing them for the runners to make a good bed next year.

More potatoes (Kestrel, 1.5kg from one plant).
A handful of raspberries.
All the remaining broad beans (half a bucket full).
