As if I've got enough space! I'm happy with Tromba's
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower

I'll join this if I still can, I wont make the mistake of putting them out too early this year, well maybe i'll chance a couple

I did eventually get a couple of decent ones last year, and I really enjoyed them, They are a really dense texture and make a great spiralised low carb pasta replacement, better than courgette pasta by miles

Won't be growing them this year, I'm afraid. Grew so many last year that the husband refuses to eat any more of them. Still have the two monsters from last year drying in the living room.

I have a couple of seedlings growing.
Happy to join in again this year.
Will be using the same seed as last year but they didn’t grow anything like the piccie on the packet!

mine have been in the HP for 8 days... no sign of life yet (new seeds as well.) After the total over-engineering of the frame for them to grow up I had better have at least 1 of the 4 seeds sown germinate! ( patience is one virtue of gardening I really have to cultivate. )

                  I have germination . I’m so excited.
Was starting to panic. It’s all good, 1 of my last 4 seeds has come through

Had to google Cucuzzi! Where do you find all the weird seeds? Have you grown them before VC?

One of those spur of the moment purchases a couple of years back - not grown them before. https://www.pennardplants.com/search...=&stype=&scat=

I bought a rather large Dudhi in the supermarket once and, by the time I'd got to checkout I'd forgotten what it was called. The checkout girl didn't know what it was either and all I could tell her what it was something beginning with D.

Oh how we laughed...........and the rest of the queue!!

What a memory!! Found the old thread.........https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...hed_65236.html

Sorry, I lied about the Cucuzzi. It was a Butterbush squash.

As for the Loofa seeds - you sent them to me SP.
