Hi there folks
Apologies for the strange message title but miracles really do happen, let me elaborate.
On 9th January having been out with my partner and dropping her off back home (we have our own houses and don't intend to sell one before you ask), I and my new dog called Jack set off back home. Jack is a rescue dog and a Lakeland Terrier cross that was secured on the back seat in a harness and I've now had him 9 months.
Whilst travelling back we neared a notorious traffic island called the Hobby Horse Roundabout (named after the pub near it) and I proceeded to turn right driving onto it after checking it was safe, no traffic was visible anywhere and the time was 23:57.
Next thing I remember was a paramedic next to me (I thought it was someone who had jumped in the passenger side trying to rob me), doing something and I told him to get out my car, he explained who he was, that I'd been in an accident and had been knocked out.
The rest of the evening is sketchy but police were involved, the road was closed off and my car, a 66 plate Ford Fiesta had been totalled with the rear offside wheel ripped off in the collision. The National Express coach that hit me had to be recovered and so did my car. The police eventially gave me and Jack a lift home and dropped me there, don't even go into why they didn't insist I go to hospital but I still need answers about their actions that night.
Apart from all that happening I'm almost recovered and car shopping after being paid out for my poor car, hopefully I'll be back to tending my three allotments and be more active on here as a result. Onwards and upwards from now on (that first week after the collision was a blur also, had concussion effects and double vision for the first 7 days), got seed potatoes chitting and onion sets still to plant but with the weather I don't expect I could do much digging anyway.
Phew now you know so I'll see you on the forum from now on.
Only 1 typo, really good for me lol.
