Seeds rather than small plants

I havnt been growing for past couple of yrs due to health.
Mum normally buys small plants from GC now shut of mini cucumber and runners.
If I get the seeds now will there be time to get then going for.her?

There’s plenty of time I won’t be sowing my cucumbers or runners for a few weeks yet.
