Little devils strike again

Opened propagator this morning and notice something had nibbled the tops of some of my small chilli seedlings. I have quite a few so some are still OK.
I assume a small snail must have infiltrated the propagator.
A suitable spread of slug pellets should deter the little devil, hopefully!
Or maybe it's a mouse, do they like chilli leaves?

Never know mice eat the chilli leaves but they are very partial to a bit of heat in their food. They prefer ripe chillies. I’ve noticed.

A tangential thought! I'm sure I read somewhere that the substance in chillies that makes them hot has no affect on rabbits

Quite possibly. The little furry critters can handle more heat than me

The only thing I’ve found bunnies won’t try and eat is asparagus
