Bean seeds

when i cleared the site were white lady had been,i found among some the dried pods,i got 6 dark brown/almost black seeds,they are runner size,so am going to plant these up,and see what i get,the area they had grew in was virgin ground,so i wondered if they got crossed,watch this space,

I went on a seed saving course at Ryton a few years ago as I’m a seed guardian. Runner & broad bean are prolific crossers.

To get the seeds of the same parent they have to grow them in polytunnels and hand pollinate. Quite a job!
