  • Can anyone recommend where to buy veg plug plants online?

    Anywhere you have used .
I'd obviously normally use a GC or nursery

    Thank you.

I once used Suttons - excellent quality.
I once used T & M. Less said the better.

My suggestion would be to put a wanted request on free-cycle or similar local internet site (or ask the local allotment people) and see if any gardeners near you have spares. I've grown all sorts of veg from seed over the years, the end of April usually meant throwing spare plants away when I ran out of space for them or couldn't find anyone to give them to - probably happen this year with the tomato plants I have too many of.

I buy my Maybach cauliflower plants from Marshalls and they have always been good quality, strong plants.

Your local garden centre may deliver for you - ours does.

What sort of things are you looking for?

Some appear available from the Victoriana Nursery (If you don't wish to use the bigger companies too). www.victoriananursery.co.uk

Another company seems to be Brookside Nursery: http://www.brooksidenursery.co.uk (Never used these before but looks to be rated very well online)
