I usually buy plug plants in July/August for caulis to cover autumn and winter (divided into four seasons here for caulis: autumn; late autumn/early winter; winter; late winter/early spring).
I buy these plug plants all at the same time and they are always all at the same four-leaf stage, but they're ready for harvest during these different periods. And, unbelievably, they always do well.
But this year I envisage it's going to be difficult to buy plug plants. So I'm going to have to grow them from seed. I don't mind growing from F1 seeds if that's what it takes.
Any recommendations for varieties?
Thanks.
