  • Cabbage/BS/Broccoli - Too early for the ground?

Hi everyone - I have cabbages, Brussel Sprouts and broccoli growing in 3 inch pots - they’re big now and starting to look a bit tall/floppy so I think they need to go in the ground - but I’ve read that it’s too early to do this?
They’re outside in a pop-up mini greenhouse at the moment with the door always left open, so they’re acclimatised to the outside.... I’m in the midlands and the weather is fairly mild, although last frost not predicted until 2nd week in May. Should I get them in the ground or wait?
Second question - I’m new to this forum... how do I quickly get back to past questions I’ve asked to look at the answers?!
    Thanks and happy growing 😀

I've put them in the ground this early (though not this year). Your Brussels sprouts will probably do very well for you.

A bit late but better late than never: hello and welcome.

Brassicas are frost hardy; they're fine going out now.

Get them in now, I have mine in more than 2 weeks now, the frost will not effect them.
