Hello all. This might be in the wrong place. Dinosaur pumpkin - I have a couple of these bizarre looking things. Does anyone know what they are like to cook, and the best way of doing same?

I grew a plant last year and had two gourds.Didn't eat them though(I thought they were merely deccorative)I kept them to amaze my grandchildren!
They have dried over the year to just a shell,which is quite hard and I am going to paint them with green Hammerite,then add eyes etc.
They do look amazingly like Dinosaurs!
