Has anyone got any experience of this, varieties and success rates, I’m doing ordinary peas just wondered if I can get some early mange tout as well?

So far as I'm aware there aren't any hardy type winter mange tout, have always planted up from Spring onwards. You may get away with some if you offer them protection but wouldn't bet on it.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Methinks that with standard type peas you can sow 'round seeded' in the Autumn and 'wrinkle seeded' types in the spring. Not sure which type mange tout are but, hey, if you've got land available, spare seed, and you won't be gutted if you don't get a crop, give it a try!
