  • Tomato soil

I've got few pots from growing tomatoes and they've been pulled out. I'm not sure if I had blight but the plants didn't get badly affected and few tomatoes that did very badly was because I think I transplanted them when they were 'too settled' in a smaller, crowded pot.

Should I be careful with this soil to the point of isolating them from other soil or compost? I gather that they'd be alright for growing vegetable from onion or root family or even annual flowers/bulbs. Just in case the soil is contaminated, is it wise to avoid growing any vegetable of Solanacae family? Or am I being too meticulous?

    Hi Veg4681,

It should be ok if you reuse it for any other than tomatoes / potatoes .
