I might buy the Wilko ones. You're right it's too much for just the Lebanese squash but I don't think I have any Patty Pan ones either. Plus I never quite seem to be able to buy 'just one thing' when shopping online, so I'm sure it's safer for me to go to a real shop!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom

I've come to take you home."

Oh dear please don't! No more spending please! You can have some of mine instead. Patty Pan are rubbish for taste (have eaten them), they're just a novelty. Even standard dark green courgettes are worth the space in your bed than PP. Sorry just my thoughts.

Sorry but i have to disagree strongly here, patty pans are very tasty indeed.

We've grown a couple of varieties and they can be eaten small size - a couple of inches diameter, unpeeled. Or let them bulk up to about 6 - 8 inch diameter, peel before cooking them. These larger squash can be stored for a few months in a cool dark cupboard and have a nutty taste and more 'bitey' texture to them.

Oh thank you so much for bringing it back Ami, and thanks for all the link Manda and Claire... you girls are my angels !

Due to the Lebanese White Bush Marrow, I ended up ordering twice at BC and both times I ordered extra seeds and the bad news is, both ordering has no Lebanese White Bush Marrow and now I am loaded with extra unintended seeds .
I really don't know. Please listen to me... don't follow my foot steps.

Give the packet a good fumble before you buy, Seahorse! (Like what I do!)

I'm trying really, really hard to control my addiction! There are even a couple of threads where I've refused offers of seeds.

I've had to try for some leb squash though, courgettes are one of our 'staple' foods (as veggies).

But there's plenty of time to find some, they can't go in for months yet - its that veg4681 panicking us!

I get your point, I am also in the same situations. It is not about buying and spending but more to the point of self controling and knowing what we want.like you, I did the same by turning down any swap and just send the seeds immediately.
Oh dear beloved Lebanese marrow how much chaos has you done ? there is always next year plan Manda...

I've found the cheapest one (without buying a mixed pack) from this website where all their seeds are 0.95p each. But their minimum order is at least 5 seed packets (still better than others) and their veggie choice is somewhat limited (compared to £1 Pennards Seeds). In there, they're calling it Marrow (Cucurbita pepo).

Sorry for drifting, about Dave's eBay corner, do you have to pay for P&P each time you buy an auction item. What if I'm want two different tomatoes and another different veg, do I pay 3 times for P&P (rather a duplicate surely so maybe the reason for under £1 seeds)? I thought his discount was only applicable for the same aution item, same seeds bought X times. BTW I like their small white cuke etc .
