where to buy artichokes?

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good supplier of artichoke plants. I would like to put some in on my allotment but can't find any for sale.

Helen if you mean globe artichokes they have them at www.marshalls-seeds.co.uk £4.50 for 10 plants. Everywhere else seems to be sold out.

Alternatively raid Tescos as their commercial crop is "Fuseau" which is a less knobbly strain and much cheaper than Marshalls.
