Not that i would condone this kind of behaviour BUT i ordered some for most of my family ;-) had them sent to their address and paid the postage with my bank card. Seemed to work. Although Dave the Goldfish is a little concerned about overwatering..... Minty x

I think my 'free' spuds might be on their way, noticed a 0.95p DT Brown debit on my credit card - the offer is still on DT Browns site....Vales Emerald sound interesting, might try them in containers.

I purchased seed potatoes from GC on monday at £5 for 2.5 kg and I thought that was expensive. I wanted sarpo mira (due to bad attact of blight this year) and there arn't many places you can get them.

Thanks Paul, I like a tasty salad spud (esp. for 95p!). I was wondering about looking for Roseval which is supposed to be very tasty too. No doubt we'll buy too many spuds again!

                    Erm...

Has anybody stared to receive the 95p spuds yet..?

I have a paper copy of the catalogue and the offer stated says you have to have ordered 6kg or more of spuds to qualify for them.

I followed the link and ordered like many of you. Only been charged 95p.

I have passed the link on to other sites and lots have also ordered, but now I'm getting a wee bit worried we are not in fact eligible on-line..

I've just checked the website offer and it doesn't say anything about a minimum order. So I think they'll have to honour it.
If it's any consolation, none of my seed potatoes have arrived from anywhere yet!

Hi all concerned. Still not had mine as yet. But as i see it if you go to the website there is no indication that you have to buy 6kg to qualify and you have to ask yourself if that was the case surely the postage and packaging would be more than 95p.
As it was i that put the link on here i am a little concerned but.......
No indication of minimum order online.

                          Wouldn`t they send them altogether, 6kg +10 free..95p postage ?????

Website takes you automatically through the checkout process with no "you must buy 6kg more"prompt.

                          It`s still a little early
OK WHO`S GONNA BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM A CALL.
DOES IT HAVE TO BE ME ???????? MINTY X

I told the entire BBC Gardening site about this offer, on this site people are nice, frendly and caring.... on the BBC site they will rip yer head off and spit down the hole.

Dont worry i'm sure we will get our spuds. (gulp)
