I saw those big soft flexi bucket (40 litres) for £1.29 in one of those Poundstretcher type of store but they were in bright colours. That might hold 4 seed potatoes. I don't know about drilling holes on them with success though. Any comments anyone?
From Homebase not Poundstretcher but I have several of these that I just stuck a screwdriver through the base multiple times. They didn't split or crack or anything and seem to drain just fine. I like the funky colours
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
If you're worried about pots splitting when you drill them, find yourself a suitable metal rod (old screwdriver, poker, etc) and heat it up in a flame, I've used a gas cooker or a blowtorch in the past. You can easily melt the holes into the pot without them splitting. Just don't breath in the fumes!
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!
