Someone previously posted a link to Moreveg.net and I noticed they do a jalapeno called 'chilli pizza' that says its mild. They also do ordinary jalapeno and at 50p a pkt (plus 75p p&p) seem a cheap way of trying a variety?

(I'm probably gonna give way to 'seed fever' later and order a load (free p&p over £5! )

Thats a great site SBP, but at the moment they don't ship outside of the UK. I will have to see what i can do to get around that.

bramble - 'seed fever' is rampant here too I'd be happy to add to my order and forward stuff on to you, just let me know
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I registered the other day, I have ordered several different varieties of jalepeno seed and intend to dedicate one of my greenhouses on the allotmentjust for chillies. It may seem overkill but I am totally addicted to chillies and jalepeno's are my fave chilliies. Pickles are great with five or six hot chillies split open in the jar.

              Cheers Chris

I'vejust given way to a fivers worth as well. the Moreveg co said they would post to me for £1.25 up to a fiver and £2.25 over that. I was please with that.
No doubt thats only the first of a few orders that will be sent off in the next few weeks. Can't wait to get started.

I've just tried logging in also, am sure I was in as Alison last year but it won't let me in the same as Protea above - is it us or is there a problem????????

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

If you're worried about size HW ( ) check out Rule 7:

Rule number seven, a prize will also be awarded for the best example of "corking". Corking is illustrated in the photograph on the right. Not all peppers exhibit corking, but Jalapeño are quite susceptible to it. It is a process where the pepper skin contains lots of little cracks. If you weren't expecting it you may mistake it for a damaged pepper and throw it out, but it is actually just an indication that the pepper is ripe to eat. In Mexico, peppers with corking are more valued than those without. thechileman also likes corking. take photographs of any nice examples you come across and we'll provide a way for you to send them to us in due course. the best will win a prize.
