      Didn't even know they had one!!! I just know they can be sown any time coz I tried growing them for mk2 son who loves cacti (failed totally though) and ended up buying some for him

        I got this itchy finger thingy too, just sow some onion seeds and several basil seeds and see what happen....

          Like Hole Digger I start my onion seed off in the propogator the only differance is that when the seed has hatched I leave the top off all together, as they get bigger ( I sow them in individual cells) I move them onto a heat mat this frees up the propogator for the next seeds and maintains botton heat until it is warm enough to put out in the greenhouse.

            Hi PaulW,forgot 2 mention when they've all germinated i popped them under grow lights they just love it,
