I would like some recommendations for a good masher, not a main crop but a 2nd early please (less susceptible to blight cos they're out the ground sooner?). We've a light sandy soil if that makes a difference.

Try marfona, Manda, make lovely mash and arent fussy about soil. or you could try several different general use types such as Nadine or estima and decide which you prefer. enjoy your mash!!
