Don't know how sophisticated you want the database to be but I just use MS Excel spreadsheet. Columns and rows is all I need for recording my seeds details but some mathematical calculations can also be incoporated although I haven't got that far yet.

could you ping me a copy the reason I am trying to do it in a database is that I could take it to work On a Stick and run crystal reports off it.
I have set up a couple of tables very basic if I get data on it could someone fancy it it for me with queries and forms and macro's.

The way some of us have been buying seeds it could be a good thing for us all to have

I was/am a database developer. Access is easy. I have a basic one set up for my magazines and it would also do for other hobbies/collections. Only slight snag is that it's on my main frame and that hasn't worked for several months. I have found the disc to get it working but haven't bothered since I bought my laptop and use that whilst "chilling" watching telly.

If I get a moment over the weekend (Sunday) I'll try and get it up and running again. If I download the basic DB to a CD I can then post it to people. Access doesn't transfer well on the internet.

Oh yes! What fields do you want, I'll probably have to change the names and add/hide/delete some.
