recommendations for outdoor peppers, aubergines and tomatoes?

thanks for all the suggestions :O) eagerly awaiting lots of seed catalogues at the moment and perusing real seeds when i should be working. I'll try and remember to let you know how I get on (and if anything grows at all.. this is my first year at it so I'm sure I'll make plenty of mistakes.. :O/)
