  • Plastic Coldframe

Hi all! I bought a plastic coldframe from B&Q today for 6.49. Has anyone ever had one of these? Are they any good?

I saw that one too on Sunday but I was more worried about being blown away by a strong wind and it didn't seem like it has a base (as shown in the picture). Otherwise a very good/useful cloches for that price, doesn't need any assembling or supporting and light for lifting on/off. If it wasn't for my DH objection, I might have bought it and probably will later !

I've bought one last year and now have a second, found them very useful for getting the lettuce started and protecting seedlings/small plants.

You can peg them down which is good for the wind but the badger managed to push it to one side. Strong noses those badges!
